“Lovely lodging! Friendly people with gorgeous location. Our room had a be-pillowed window seat, from which this picture was taken. This was taken in the morning, but the bench you see in the photo was where we watched the sun set the evening before. Romantic and windswept!”

“While I’m not crazy about suburban properties, it is great to watch the boats go by and the planes land.”

“This photo was taken in May 2010, during the first week the lodge is open for the season. Despite the fact that summer was only a few weeks away, Crater Lake National Park was still very much a snowy wonderland. It was amazing to wake up early and look out the window to this beautiful sight. Moments after I snapped this photo, the clouds rolled back in and completely enveloped the lake. This view was definitely worth waking up for!”

“Built by the Works Progress Administration. There isn’t enough room here for a full history of this historic lodge. Worth the cost, this is an expensive lodge to visit with fine dining and great views.”

“This was a great cruise all the way to the Snake River through 3 states but now the ship cruises with a new line and a new name: now the Spirit of 98 (previously the Colonial Explorer).”

“The Castaway by the Sea is located in a beautiful location on the Oregon Coast, just off the Pacific Coast Highway. From our room we were able to watch gray whales spouting in the Pacific Ocean! Nearby is the Cape Blanco lighthouse, which sits on the westernmost piece of land in the continental United States.”
