“This spectacular view is from the balcony of an apartment in Chalet L’Aigle, Villars. In this photo you can see the ‘Dents du Midi’ mountain range back lit in pink by the evening sunshine.
I can thoroughly recommend Villars for skiing, hill walking and sightseeing, having stayed there in summer and winter. The apartment is homely and very comfortable.”

“This hotel is one of the best to get a room with a view of the Matterhorn. This
shot was taken at 4am just as the sun came up and clipped the top of the
Matterhorn. It was lucky that I was awake just at the right minute, because this
doesn’t last but a few minutes. “
