“The Hotel Marquis is a small boutique hotel located in the French part of St. Maarten. It is situated on top of a hill, overlooking Marcel cove. It is a very peaceful and tranquil spot, away from the crowds of Philipsburg. Because it is a small hotel, most of the rooms have outstanding views and private balconies with cots and dining tables overlooking the ocean. The beach itself is not far away at all and is one of the nicest beaches I have ever been to. Oh, and the breakfast at the Marquis is incredibly delicious!”

“The resort is on Simpson Bay in St Maarten. Right on the water in a beautiful bay. The rooms are standard, maybe a bit dated, however, clean and neat, but the view from the wrap around double balcony in room 702 is close to perfect to me.”

“The room was spacious and modern with super comfortable and luxurious linens. The patio with this amazing view of the Caribbean was by far the highlight and our morning spot for breakfast. The room was indeed the highlight of the establishment as we didn’t care for the lobby and casino area much.”
