“My husband and I spent just two nights here a couple of years ago and we loved it. The room was very comfortable and the view, of course, fantastic! We sat in the sitting room area with the French doors open as the sun went down. As I sipped my glass of wine sitting on the sofa, I snapped pictures of the castle in the dying light. Truely memorable. And the people were very warm and wonderful. There is a gift shop and a small restaurant with local fare (not recommend the fish schnitzel). Hotel is in town and there are horse-drawn wagons and busses to get to the two castles of crazy King Ludwig. We would love to return if we have the chance.”

“Wonderful room! We were so happy staying here! This place did require a bit of German – a few people we dealt with spoke no English, but our limited German and some charades worked wonders! “
