“A wonderful hotel – warm, friendly and very helpful staff, large and comfortable rooms – and excellent cakes! Igelsberg is well placed for exploring the surrounding forests and close to the attractive market town of Freudenstadt.”

“Great location with an amazing view of the iconic Frauenkirche. Even for a well-traveled visitor, it’s amazing what Dresden has done to renovate the inner city area known as the Kulturmeile (Culture mile). It’s like being taken back to what it must have looked like over 100 years ago.”

“This is a Roman monument carved on the side of the Danube River to show the extent of the Roman empire. We were cruising the Danube from Vienna to the Black Sea. The cruise line may not go all the way to the Black Sea anymore but does cruise the Danube.”

“Really enjoyed the view of downtown Frankfurt from the Holiday Inn. Perched high on “Sachsenhausen mountain,” there are great city views from many levels.

If visiting, I recommend walking across the street and getting on the bus 30 or 36 – they run every 5 minutes – and can take you to Konstablerwache, the heart of the city. From there, you’ll be right smack dab in the middle of what you see here!”
