The new owners are enthusiastic, friendly and work incredibly hard for their guests. Yet, even in ‘high season, we paid only about £40 for our room. At low season, the prices are extremely reasonable.”

The mountain opposite, looking south,  is Billexe – a 3-hour walk away – and Lhéris mountains at the foot of the Central French Pyrenees. The top gives you fabulous views of the high peaks of the Pyrenees.”
