“Okuti Camp is on the Moremi Reserve, deep in the Okavango Delta of Botswana. Rooms are huge, two bedrooms made of reeds covered in canvas and built on wooden decks. The lodge can only accommodate 12 guests at a time. Verandas of each room look out over the Delta. You can hear lots of wildlife from your room and don’t have to go far to see it. One day a leopard strolled through the middle of camp at lunchtime. Fortunately it was our lunchtime, not his.”

“The Chobe Chilwero Lodge is a small (10 cottages) safari lodge near Kisane, Botswana. The cottages have sweeping views of the Chobe River, a tributary of the Zambezi that borders Botswana and Namibia. You can see elephants, hippos, herds of Cape Buffalo, gazelles and others from the cottage porch, before you set off to see them up close.”
