“The hotel has just completed a refurbishment of it’s rooms and I cannot recommend it enough. Not only do you have great views, the staff are excellent, attentive and friendly.
This photo was taken during sunrise at around 6.30am on March 12th 2012 from the balcony. The first ferries were just starting up and a few hardy joggers were out and about but other than that, you felt like you had the city to yourself.”

“Great location close to Circular Quay and Darling Harbour. Walk to the train station to get to and from the airport. This was a 30 second exposure from our room on an early Spring night.”

“Although not actually in Sydney city centre, Harbourside Apartments are right by the ferry that will take you to Circular Quay or Darling Harbour every 20 minutes or so. The great advantage of not being in the centre is that you get a view like this! A stunning location.”

“This hotel has the perfect room to enjoy the stunning view of both the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Especially at night, I’ve never experienced such excitement to see both landmarks in beautiful lights.”

“As if the location of the hotel, in the heart of Sydney’s Rocks, is not good enough, this is the view that may greet you. Watch the sun come up over the Harbour and the Opera House, maybe see a cruise ship pull into Circular Quay.”

“I was in Sydney for the Anita Borg Finalist’s retreat, sponsored by Google. The whole trip was all expenses paid but I wasn’t really expecting it to include this kind of view! This photo was taken at around midnight.”

“The best possible view on the harbor and steps away from the Sydney opera house and dozens of ferries to just about anywhere. Very peaceful and private although in the midst of all the action. The Grand Quay had the best in-room dining, staff was amazing, the decor and room layout was up to par. I will definitely return.”
